We have been heard rumors for quite some months and things are now official: Capcom really works on a new Strider after leaving the franchise in the shadows for a number of years.
The announcement was made during the Comic Con in San Diego.
Just announced at San Diego Comic-Con, Capcom has revealed a new Strider game. The game will be developed by Double Helix (Killer Instinct) for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS3, X360, and Steam on PC.
This version of Strider will be 2.5D, similar to Shadow Complex. It's a side-scrolling action adventure with 3D graphics and non-linear gameplay, or what people like to call it, "Metroidvania." It will feature a world map that will be accessible as players find new skills.
