Capcom: Deep Down is not Dragon's Dogma 2

The lack of Deep Down at E3 2013 does not preclude Capcom to quickly return on it, not to mention further that the game will be, but "what will not." And so, contrary to what some might suggest: Deep Down has absolutely no connection with the license Dragon's Dogma. Ok! Noted.

Announced in February, the new generation production seems to be clearly oriented heroic-fantasy has so far been confirmed only on PS4.

Mercury Steam already have a Next-Gen project in the work

It was slightly predictable but now, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 score the last current-gen game as announced by Mercury Steam producer David Cox, claiming to have the Next-Gen in mind for his next project.

For those who do not know, Lords of Shadow 2 being the last episode of the trilogy (counting 3DS episode), the studio will then move on to something else. While in the gaming space, we all know that the term "trilogy" no longer means much.

Level-5 gives its opinion on the Next-Gen

We can clearly say that we are currently facing a certain irony. While Microsoft had made the walk to the Japanese developers on Xbox 360 for a more mixed result, we find that the Xbox One (which will not be released until 2014 on japanese market) is proving to be increasingly defended by the same teams.

Indeed, after the surprising Dead Rising 3, and Metal Gear Solid V opening the conference as well as the confirmation ports of Final Fantasy XV (logic) and Kingdom Hearts III (already more surprising) and the "relative" defense of Yakuza producer which  say that he understand the choice of DRM, we discover that Akihiro Hino of Level-5 was impressed by the machine, and want to "make every effort" to fit the strategy of the manufacturer. Only downside for him is the price, but now against the $ 399 for the PS4. Level-5 chief will even imagine an RPG that would use Kinect for voice recognition, why not for menu navigation.

However, the president of Level-5 does not suddenly turns the back to the PlayStation 4 and if nothing concrete is specified there either, he evokes the interesting possibility of using the compatibility with other systems, such as a game using both the machine and a smartphone.

Rumor: Fallout 4 was unveiled at last E3?

The rumor of the day comes from Bubblenews and Strategy Informer web sites, which report that Fallout 4 was present at the last E3, but presented discreetly (behind-closed-doors).

The title will take place at Boston and its areas, and will not be officially unveiled until E3 2014 with a release planned for October 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Surprisingly! Editions of PS3 and 360 are also in the study, it'll be surprising if it materializes.

Sony confirms PlayStation 4 will have 500GB internal storage, PlayStation Eye camera will retail for $60.

The PlayStation 4 has a 500GB hard drive--the same size as the Xbox One--Sony confirmed as part of a recently released fact sheet regarding the next-generation platform.

In addition, PlayStation Eye cameras will not be included with PS4 systems. Instead, they will be available as peripherals for $60 each.

Additional DualShock 4 controllers will sell for $60.

By comparison, the Kinect 2.0 is included with every Xbox One and has been described as an integral component of Microsoft's next-generation machine.

The PS4 will launch this year at $400, while the Xbox One will be available for $500.

PS4 supports used games and features no online check-in

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will not require an online-check in, and that Sony will impose no restrictions on trading in disc-based games.

Speaking during Sony's E3 2013 press conference, SCEA president Jack Tretton added that that disc-based PlayStation 4 games will be able to be traded in at retail, sold to another person, lent to friends, or just kept forever.

The news positions Sony's PlayStation 4 in direct opposition to Microsoft's Xbox One, which requires a 24-hour check-in for all games and will restrict the sale of used games to selected retailers.

"I guess that's a good thing," said Tretton.

PlayStation 4 console hardware finally revealed!

The PlayStation 4 design Sony unveiled this evening is not final, but it's close, according to Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida.

"It's almost final," Yoshida said, noting there are "some subtle things" that could change before the next-generation system launches later this year.

In addition, Sony confirmed that the plastic piece that holds the system upright when positioned vertically will be sold as a separate peripheral. Pricing was not divulged.

Sony confirms a $399/€399/£349 price for the PlayStation 4 hardware, $100 cheaper than Microsoft's Xbox One

Sony has announced today that the PlayStation 4 will cost $399 in North America.

In other regions, the PlayStation 4 will cost €399 in Europe and £349 in the UK.

The PlayStation 4 will retail for $100 less than Microsoft's Xbox One, which will cost $499/€499/£429. The PlayStation 4 will launch this holiday season, but Sony did not date the PlayStation 4. Microsoft's Xbox One will launch in November.

Preorders for the device will likely begin imminently at major retailers.

Xbox One launching in November for $500

Microsoft today announced during its 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo briefing that the Xbox One will launch across the world this November at $499/€499/£429.

In addition, Microsoft revealed that gamers can reserve an Xbox One Day One Edition beginning today. Reserving the bundle guarantees players can purchase the new system on day one, including black packaging, a limited-edition Xbox One Day One wireless controller, and a Day One achievement.

In addition, those who pick up an Xbox One Day One Edition system will get various digital bonuses for games like Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Dead Rising 3.

Preorders for the standard Xbox One console are now open through GameStop and Amazon.

The Xbox 360 launched in 2005 for $300/$400. Sony has yet to disclose pricing information for the PlayStation 4. The company's E3 2013 briefing takes place tonight at 6 p.m. PDT.

A Rare developer earlier today let slip the November launch window for the Xbox One.
